Hero MotoCorp Unveils Premium Motorcycles and Electric Scooter

At EICMA 2024, Hero MotoCorp showcased its new range of motorcycles and electric scooters under its 'Be the Future of Mobility' vision. The products include the futuristic Surge S32, the award-winning Hero 450 Rally, and new models like the Xpulse 210, Xtreme 250R, and Karizma XMR 250, alongside the VIDA Z electric scooter.

Expanding Product Portfolio with New Motorcycles

Hero MotoCorp is continuing its journey of premiumization and expanding its portfolio with new models. The new Xpulse 210, Xtreme 250R, and Karizma XMR 250 cater to various riding styles, from off-road adventures to street and track use.

  • VIDA Z: A stylish and tech-enabled electric scooter designed for global markets with an emphasis on performance and sustainability.

Global Expansion: Entering European and UK Markets

Hero MotoCorp is expanding into European and UK markets, with plans to launch the VIDA Z electric scooter by mid-2025. The company has established a Tech Centre in Germany (TCG) to support its operations and product development in Europe. Additionally, Hero has appointed distributors in Italy and commercial agreements in Spain and France.

VIDA Z: A Global Electric Scooter

The VIDA Z electric scooter is designed with a global audience in mind. It features a modular architecture, offering various battery capacities (from 2.2 kWh to 4.4 kWh). The scooter provides efficient performance with a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive train. The connectivity suite allows users to monitor vehicle health, detect theft, and perform over-the-air updates via the MY VIDA app.

Xpulse 210: Adventure-Ready Performance

The Xpulse 210 is a powerful adventure motorcycle featuring a 210cc DOHC liquid-cooled engine, 24.5 bhp of power, and 220mm of ground clearance. It is designed for off-road riders who need a machine capable of handling rough terrains and long rides.

Xtreme 250R: The Ultimate Street Machine

The Xtreme 250R is designed for performance and agility, featuring a 250cc liquid-cooled engine with 30 PS of peak power. It comes with a USD front suspension, 6-step adjustable rear suspension, and connected features such as navigation and music control.

Karizma XMR 250: Racing-Inspired Style and Power

The Karizma XMR 250 is a sports motorcycle with a 250cc liquid-cooled engine producing 30 PS of peak power. With aggressive styling, racing-inspired winglets, and adjustable clip-on handlebars, it offers an exhilarating riding experience.
